Used as a fat emulsifier: essential for the breakdown of fats and to prevent the build-up of cholesterol on arterial walls. A deficiency could lead to high cholesterol, high blood pressure, memory lapse, dizziness, angina, atherosclerosis.
Body Effects: protective for myelin sheaths that cover the nervous tissue. Strengthens weak capillary walls. Helps function of the brain, liver, circularory system, nervous system and to regulate blood pressure.
It's action is enhanced in combination with Vitamin A. |
