Action

This is part of the Vitamin B group. It is a constituent of Lecithin (see Lecithin). Used as a fat emulsifier: essential for the breakdown of fats and to prevent the build-up of cholesterol on arterial walls.
A deficiency could lead to high cholesterol, high blood pressure, memory lapse, dizziness, angina, atherosclerosis.

Body Effects: protective for myelin sheaths that cover the nervous tissue. Strengthens weak capillary walls. Helps function of the brain, liver, circularory system, nervous system and to regulate blood pressure.

It's action is enhanced in combination with Vitamin A.

Uses

As a Fat Emulsifier, Weight Management, Overall Health Maintenance.

Food Source

Beef liver, eggs, fish, lecithin, brewers yeast, peanuts, soya beans or flour.
