Para-aminobenzoic acid. Constituent of folic acid. Stimulates intestinal flora to produce folic acid. Utilises Pantothenic Acid.

Body Effects: Metabolism of proteins, formation of red blood cells, antagonist of Sulpha drugs. Of value as a sun-screen. A carrier of oxygen from blood to lungs, muscles & vital organs. Anti-stress factor.
A deficiency could lead to anemia & skin disorders.
