Usage guidelines (also see Directions) OXY-KLENZ is the ideal addition or follow-up to colon cleansing / colon hydrotherapy treatment, e.g. our: • Quick Colon Cleanse Programme • Total Gut Therapy Programme. It can also be alternated or used in conjunction with our herbal colon cleansers i.e. COL-Clear Version A, COL-Clear Version B and Nat-Lax TNT. OXY-KLENZ requires natural stomach acid or citric acid (already included in the formula) to activate the release of nascent oxygen from the salts of magnesium. It works best when taken on an empty stomach with warm water immediately upon arising or just before bedtime. Wait at least 1 - 2 hours before or after meals. Drink 1 glass of pure grapefruit juice, orange juice or better still, squeeze 1/2 to 1 lemon into water and drink this with the capsules. The added acidity is needed for faster liberation of oxygen, especially in people with poor stomach acid levels. To promote the cleansing process and prevent the absorption of toxins, 1 glass of water should be drunk every 1 - 2 hours throughout the day.   Best results are seen with improved eating habits. Understanding the ingredients Magnesium peroxide Magnesium peroxide is a superior carrier of oxygen and is also essential for proper enzyme activity to occur at the cellular level. Among the many benefits of magnesium peroxide is its multi-tiered approach to colon cleansing. Vitamin C and citrus bioflavonoids These ingredients provide a ‘coating’, allowing the product to reach the stomach, and as the product enters the intestinal area, together they break down the magnesium compound. The magnesium is thus enabled to do its oxygenation job. Citrus bioflavonoids are natural substances found in plants, fruits, vegetables, nuts, bark and buckwheat. They help to protect capillaries, prevent bruising and intensify the effect of Vitamin C in the body. In fact, bioflavanoids are essential for total Vitamin C effectiveness. They also help to maintain the strength of capillary walls. Ascorbic acid This acid helps to activate the benefits of magnesium peroxide. Fructo-Oligosaccharides (FOS) FOS is a prebiotic, which feeds the beneficial bacteria in the digestive system and, more particularly, in the bowel. These “good”bacteria (probiotics) aid in the digestion, absorption, detoxification and elimination processes of the body. Citric acid This acid is often added to food as a natural preservative. It gives citrus fruits their sour taste.   Apple cider vinegar This has been added to help activate the actions of the magnesium peroxide by increasing acidity levels. Take 2 - 4 capsules before bed for the first 2 days and again on an empty stomach upon rising.   Increase intake by 1 - 2 capsules per day until cleansing processes are comfortable. Work intake up if required, or maintain the amount that suits. Maximum daily intake is 15 capsules per day. Continue with the higher intake for 6 weeks and thereafter follow a maintenance programme of 1 - 3 capsules per day if required. Drink plenty of water to help flush toxins from the body.
