Is a seaweed which is high not only in Iodine (see Iodine) but in many other minerals and trace elements such as potassium, magnesium, calcium & iron. The Iodine is used by the thyroid gland to produce Thyroid hormones responsible for maintaining the normal metabolism in all body cells.
