Internally:
Due to its ability to absorb large amounts of water or liquid per volume, it is best to add 1 teaspoon bentonite clay onto the surface of the liquid (warm water is best), cover the glass or cup with a lid or plate and allow it to slowly disperse through the water over time. After a minimum of 60 minutes, stir the bentonite clay powder with a fork.
Bentonite clay powder is best taken first thing in the morning. For practicality, it is best to follow the above procedure before going to bed the previous evening so the clay can stand overnight. Stir before drinking the clay in the morning.
Follow this procedure daily for three weeks. Thereafter, you can stop taking the bentonite clay and gauge how you feel after a few days of not until the drink.
Bentonite clay can be taken every few months as part of a body cleansing program if required.
Externally:
The clay can be made up into a smooth paste and used as a body mask.
