L-Lysine

Action

This amino acid cannot be synthesised in the body. Highly concentrated in Muscle Tissue and is metabolised to acetyl CoA - used in the production of energy.
Lysine is a precursor for Carnitine (see L-Carnitine) which is used for the transportation of fats to be used up for energy.

Uses

Weight Management, Energy Levels, Muscle & Collagen Formation.

Food Source

Meats, soya, tofu.
