L-Glutamic Acid

Action

An amino acid also known as Glutamate. It is manufactured by the body and is the precursor of arginine, ornithine, proline & polyamines.

It is found in high levels in the brain. Its functions as a stimulatory neurotransmitter and can be converted into GABA and the amino acid Glutamine (see Glutamine).

For many functions within the body.
